If you’ve never heard the term “Pizookie,” let me break it down for you.

It’s a Pizza-Cookie. Pronounced puh-ZOO-kee.

It’s basically a giant cookie baked in a skillet or pan and served warm and soft, preferably with ice cream and drizzles.

Pizookies are always good. There isn’t a bad one to be had. But while you’re at it, you should add some TURTLES® just because.

Because who doesn’t love chocolate, caramel, and nuts? These are EXACTLY the ingredients I want added to my giant Peanut Butter Pizookie.

Rather than buying chocolate chips, peanuts, and caramels separately, I get them all together in TURTLES® Caramel Nut clusters. Just chop some up and add them to your batter and you’re that much closer to eating the Pizookie.

You may want to save a few to arrange on top. Or just eat out right.

And this Pizookie is just over-the-top delicious. If you love Peanut Butter cookies, this is going to be your new favorite dessert. I can probably eat an entire Pizookie by myself, in one sitting.

People are going to go CRAZY when they smell it baking. Add some ice cream and caramel drizzles? It’s all over.

Luckily there’s a lot to go around!

There are lots of other great TURTLES® clusters flavors too such as Original Pecan, Dark Almond, Seat Salt, and White Raspberry. They are great in all your baked creations or enjoyed on their own!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 (4.7 ounce) packages TURTLES® Peanut candies
  • Vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce for serving, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Coat an oven-safe skillet with nonstick spray (see notes for size).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. In a standing mixer with the paddle attachment, or with a hand-held electric mixer, cream butter and both sugars on medium-low until and pale and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add peanut butter and vanilla and mix until incorporated. Increase speed to medium. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix until uniformly combined.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Add the flour mixture and mix until just incorporated.
  6. Meanwhile, open both packages of TURTLES® Candies and unwrap individual candies. Reserve half in whole form and chop the rest.
  7. Fold the chopped TURTLES® Candies into the batter. Scrape batter into prepared skillet. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until Pizookie is lightly browned on top.
  8. Cool 5 minutes before serving with ice cream and caramel sauce if desired, garnishing the Pizookie or individual servings with the remaining whole TURTLES® Candies.

Recipe Notes

I used this skillet which is 10 1/4 inches in size. You could use a larger skillet, up to 12 inches, without any issues.
