To a food processor fit with the blade attachment, add ham. Pulse until finely chopped (similar texture to bacon bits). Or, finely chop ham by hand.
In a large bowl, add ground ham, mayonnaise, relish, and onion, and stir to combine. Season ham mixture to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Cover and chill until serving time. Serve with bread or crackers.
Notes
Ham: This recipe is perfect for leftover baked ham, but you can substitute any cooked ham.
