A rich, indulgent chocolate martini with all the trappings of traditional S'mores. It's a summer time treat you can enjoy without the camp fire!

Ingredients

  • Chocolate syrup (see note 1)
  • Crushed graham cracker crumbs from 1 cracker
  • 2 ounces chocolate liqueur (see note 2)
  • 1 ounce crème de cacao
  • 1 ounce whipped cream flavored vodka (see note 3)
  • 1 large marshmallow toasted, for garnish

Instructions

  • Arrange two shallow dishes on a flat surface. To the first, add chocolate syrup in a circular pattern approximately the size of the rim of the glass. To the second, pour the crushed cracker crumbs.
  • Swirl the rim of a chilled martini glass in the chocolate syrup, then immediately dredge in graham cracker crumbs. Set aside.
  • Fill a martini shaker with ice. Add chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao, and vodka. Shake vigorously until chilled, about 20 seconds. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a toasted marshmallow.

Notes

  1. Chocolate syrup: Good old-fashioned Hershey's syrup is great here! Or you can make your own homemade chocolate sauce.
  2. Chocolate liqueur: Godiva chocolate liqueur is my favorite.
  3. Whipped cream vodka: Pinnacle whipped cream vodka is widely available and delicious. Or, substitute vanilla vodka.
  4. Yield: The recipe as written makes one delicious, chocolatey cocktail.
