Notes

  1. Allspice: Just have allspice berries on hand? Grind 1 tablespoon whole allspice berries to get about 1 tablespoon ground allspice.
  2. Nutmeg: Whole nutmeg berries are easy to grate if you have a microplane tool or nutmeg grater. 
  3. Yield: This recipe makes 7 1/2 teaspoons or 15 (1/2-teaspoon) servings.
  4. Storage: Store in a dark, cool place for up to 6 months.
