Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 9-inch x 13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Bring 4 quarts water and 1 teaspoon salt to a boil in a large stock pot. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain well and set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook beef, sausage, and onion until the meat is browned, about 5 to 7 minutes, breaking up any clumps with a wooden spoon. Drain well and return to the pot.
  4. Stir in 1 cup cheese, bell pepper, corn, tomato sauce, tomato paste, olives, garlic, salt, and noodles. Pour into prepared baking dish and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove foil, return to the oven, and bake an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is light golden brown and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
