The Best Father’s Day Gifts
1. For the Household Chef: Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
A quality Dutch Oven is an essential kitchen staple for the serious cook and it doesn’t get any better than this tried-and-true classic by Le Creuset. The 5.5-quart size is my go-to for everything from baking bread to making soup. Its enameled cast iron not only evenly distributes and retains heat but allows it to go straight from the oven to the broiler. It’s also available in 12 gorgeous colors, but we’re partial to the Caribbean Blue shade.
2. For the Meat Lover: ThermoWorks Thermapen One
If the dad in your life is a self-proclaimed grill master, he’ll love the ThermoWorks Thermapen One for its incredible reliability and accuracy (the readings are within .5 degrees F!). It’s my favorite instant-read thermometer and has been my trusty sidekick for 20 years for when I need to quickly check temps, which is easy to do thanks to the backlit screen. It’s also shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof thermometer, and it features motion-sensing sleep and wake modes to save battery life. Both Food & Wine and the Food Network agree with me that it’s the best instant-read thermometer on the market.
3. For the Curly Fry Lover: Oxo 3-Blade Tabletop Spiralizer
Sure, the Oxo 3-Blade Tabletop Spiralizer can turn vegetables into noodles in a flash, but I prefer to use it to crank out crispy homemade curly fries—just like Dad’s favorite fast food restaurant! This Father’s Day kitchen gift comes with three stainless steel blades to produce spaghetti cut (1/8th inch), fettuccine cut (1/4th inch), or ribbon cut noodles uniformly. Plus, all of the parts are dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup. It’s my favorite spiralizer because it’s easy to load, easy to take apart, and easy to clean.
4. For the Outdoor Cook: Ooni Pizza Oven
If Dad loves to cook outdoors during the warmer months, he’ll love this stylish outdoor pizza oven. It’s one of my go-to cooking gifts, has thousands of rave reviews, and plenty of food publishers say it’s worth the hype. With its super-fast heating outdoor pizza oven, he’ll be able to cook a wood-fired pizza in just 60 seconds! The gas-powered machine can reach up to 950 degrees in 15 minutes and its adjustable heat control can be turned down to roast veggies, too.
5. For the Handy One: Rak Tool Magnetic Wristband
Whether he’s a pro, a weekend DIY warrior, or just likes to dink around in the garage, Dad will love sporting this magnetic wristband to easily hold screws, nails, bolts, washers, and drill bits. Finally, no more dropping bolts or losing screws! The nylon outer layer is extra tough and tear-resistant, plus the strap is adjustable with a breathable mesh for a comfortable fit on his wrist. More than 17,000 reviewers on Amazon attest to its usefulness for carpentry, auto repairs, and other DIY projects.
6. For the Competitive One: Spikeball Kit
It’s on for family fun with this game! Spikeball is like a mashup of volleyball and foursquare and will be your dad’s new favorite outdoor game for the beach or backyard competitions. It comes with a Spikeball ring, ball, netting, and carrying bag so you can play it anywhere but in the living room. It’s easy to learn but a challenge to master as teams attempt to steal and spike the ball from each other!
7. For the Dad Who’s Got Jokes: Dad Joke Button
Everybody loves dad jokes, right? If your dad is a fan of one-liners, puns, or any sort of corny comedy, he’ll get a special chuckle when he unwraps this unique Father’s Day gift! Just push the button to hear one of more than 50 dad jokes that will make you cringe and giggle at the same time. It’s powered by two included AAA batteries so there’s no need to charge it.
8. For the Spice Lover: DIY Hot Sauce Making Kit
This hot sauce making kit is a unique Father’s Day gift for the dad who gets a kick out of something food-related and creative. The kit comes with everything Dad needs to create his own custom hot sauce: Recipe cards, spice packets (apple cider vinegar, spice blend, ancho pasillas, chipotle, habanero, and ghost peppers), empty storage bottles, and four varieties of peppers that were grown by 5th generation farmers and go up to 1 million Scoville units of heat. Spicy!
9. For the Dad Who Crushes It in the Kitchen: Vitamix Professional Series 750 Blender
For the dad who likes to whip up smoothies, cocktails, and soups, the Vitamix Professional Series 750 is a splurge that is worth every penny. This versatile and powerful kitchen gift has hardened stainless steel blades to crush ice for incredible frozen drinks or smoothies and puree vegetables to a pulp for silky smooth soups and sauces. The pulse feature is great for chopping tomatoes for salsa. I personally love using this blender to make frozen strawberry margaritas, and Dad will appreciate the manual speed dial for complete control over the blend.
10. For the Hairy Guy: BaKblade 2.0 PLUS Back Shaver
Some men have hairy backs, it’s just a fact. But for those who do have excess hair they want to get rid of, more than 35,000 reviewers on Amazon and Men’s Health say this back shaver will do the trick! It has a comfortable rubber handle that connects to the exfoliating back brush to prep his skin before a row of three blades gives a clean and close shave. It can be used wet or dry, folds up for storage, and the blades are easily replaced.
11. For the Animal Lover: ChomChom Pet Hair Remover
If a man’s best friend sheds, then Dad needs this cult-favorite pet hair remover that has more than 139,000 reviews on Amazon. The ChomChom is a handheld lint roller that went viral because it’s quick as a bunny at removing pet hair from fabrics and furniture. It’s inexpensive, endlessly reusable, and easy to use because it uses static electricity instead of sticky paper to pick up hair.
12. For the Pizza Lover: The Perfect Pizza Pack
If you need a last-minute Father’s Day gift that is sure to please, the Perfect Pizza Pack is a great, cheeky gift for the day. Earning its claim to fame on Shark Tank, the Perfect Pizza Pack will make packing leftovers for his lunch so much easier. The triangular design matches the contour of leftover pizza so Dad doesn’t have to suffer through finding space for the entire pizza box in the fridge or bothering with aluminum foil or plastic wrap to save his leftovers. Plus, it stretches to fit multiple slices.
13. For the Oenophile: Vacu Vin Wine Chiller
Dad doesn’t have to be a wine snob to appreciate a nicely chilled glass of vino. I’ve had my Vacu Vin since 2009 and absolutely love it! It only needs a few minutes to chill the wine and it keeps it cold for hours, and I think it’s a must-have for BBQs, picnics, or parties. Plus, it’s a great last-minute Father’s Day gift that is also a steal at less than $20!
14. For the Home Chef: Tramontina Professional Restaurant Fry Pan
I own the Tramontina Professional Restaurant Fry Pan in both the 8-inch and the 10-inch sizes and they’re my favorite pans. If Dad needs an upgrade to his current cookware, these are a great option to make it easy for him to flip, scramble, and fry like a pro. The commercial-grade, heavy-gauge aluminum distributes heat quickly for even cooking and I’ve never had an issue with stuck-on food thanks to the nonstick interior.

15. For the Guy Who Forgets Breakfast: Dash Rapid Egg Cooker
If you have a dad who is always rushing out the door in the morning, this egg cooker will save the day! With just a push of a button, he can make up to 6 boiled eggs at a time (soft, medium, or hard), or use the separate trays to make two poached eggs, an omelet, or scrambled eggs in just minutes. He’ll know the eggs are done when the buzzer sounds. It’s an egg cooker I recommend, plus it has more than 115,000 reviews on Amazon to solidify its popularity.
16. For the Frequent Flier: Twelve South AirFly Pro
Most airplanes still don’t have the ability for you to connect your wireless headphones to the screen to watch movies on long flights. But this handy little gadget is a game-changer for travel and plugs into the audio jack to pair with AirPods or other wireless headphones, so he can watch in comfort. It has over 25 hours of battery life to cover transatlantic flights and is small enough to fit into the pocket of a carry-on bag.
17. For Friday Family Movie Night: Big Blanket Co Oversized Blanket
The Big Blanket Co has created the biggest blanket known to mankind so Dad won’t ever have to fight for the covers again! Measuring 10 by 10 feet of soft and stretchy comfort, it’s almost twice as large as a standard king-size bed–yet it still miraculously fits inside a standard-sized washing machine. It’s a unique Father’s Day gift that is great for cuddling up as a family for movie night, and it’s a big hit with pets, too.
18. For the Outdoor Adventurer: ENO SingleNest Hammock
Named the best portable hammock by Wirecutter, the ENO SingleNest Hammock is the perfect Father’s Day gift for the guy who likes to get outside. It’s available in 26 colors, weighs only 1 pound but holds 400 pounds of weight, and folds to the size of a baseball when not in use. Its nylon material has a little stretch for comfort and the stitching is reinforced to ensure it lasts for many Father’s Days to come.
19. For the Dad Who Deserves a Little Pampering: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
Dads need pampering, too! Beauty reviewers are obsessed with this leave-on lip mask that delivers intense moisture while you sleep to combat fine lines, wrinkles, dryness, and dullness. He might be secretly embarrassed to admit it, but he’ll love waking up with glowing and smooth lips in the morning.
20. For the Forgetful One: Apple AirTag
If your dad is always losing his valuables, you’ll want to buy him a four-pack of affordable trackers. They can keep track of his gym bag or keys through the Find My app on his iPhone. After misplacing said item, the tag plays a sound on its built-in speaker to alert its location and save precious minutes he would have wasted searching (and blaming). He’ll thank you later.
21. For the Snacker: ROMSTO Mini Bag Sealer
If you need a Father’s Gift that anyone can appreciate, this mini bag sealer is sure to please the snacker in your life. It magically heats and creates a new seal on polymer snack bags. All he has to do is slide it along the edge of the bag at a slow and consistent pace, and it will be sealed shut for freshness better than a rubber band. Dad will never have to suffer through a stale snack again!
22. For the Mixologist: Homestia Cocktail Shaker Set
If Dad loves to end the night with a spicy margarita or dark and stormy, a good cocktail shaker will definitely come in handy. I own several cocktail shakers, but this set from Homestia is my favorite. Not only is the color stunning, but the additional tools, like a jigger and cocktail stirring spoon, also give me the flexibility for making lots of cocktails. Plus, it gives 007 vibes that your dad will love.
23. For the Fast Food Lover: Saucemoto Dip Clip
This might be the million-dollar idea that will have your dad asking, “Why didn’t I think of this myself?” The Saucemoto is another cult-favorite Shark Tank gadget that’s earned nearly 21,000 reviews on Amazon. People love it for its simple yet genius design and all Dad has to do is Clip it to his air vent, pop in his favorite Chick-fil-a sauce, and enjoy a mess-free drive.
24. For the Dad With Dirty Kicks: The Pink Stuff Miracle Scrubber Kit
The Pink Stuff was created back in 1938 but has grown to viral fame as an incredible multipurpose cleaner. Miraculously, the paste that is vegetable oil-based and free of harsh chemicals is able to give new life to everything from dirty sneakers to skillets–even when other products won’t do the trick. The scrubber kit comes with two tubs of The Pink Stuff and an electric scrubber with four interchangeable brush heads.
25. For the Remote Worker: Undetectable Mouse Mover
If you have a dad who works remotely, this unique Father’s Day gift can be yours and his little secret. This undetectable mouse mover jiggles his optical mouse at random to prevent the computer from going to sleep. For dads who use Lync, Zoom, Skype, or WebEx, it gives him the freedom to step away from his desk for a quick break without having his laptop go into sleep mode and log in again.
26. For the Fashionisto: Adidas Gazelle Shoes
If your dad has style (or wants to be more stylish), the Adidas Gazelles are a must-have for his wardrobe. He can look just as cool as Brad Pitt did wearing the classic design on the red carpet at the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood movie premiere. They sell out constantly but are restocked super fast, so get them while you can!
27. For the One Who Loves a Cold One: La Piedra Coasters
I love everything from The Citizenry, but if your dad likes to kick back with a cold one, he’ll especially appreciate this brand of coasters made of white marble and volcanic rock in a fair trade design studio in Guadalajara. Each set of 6 takes three days to make, and the result is a beautiful and sophisticated accent to the table or bar. Pick your favorite of the black volcanic rock coasters, white marble coasters, or a mix of hexagon and circle shapes.
28. For the Spicy One: KRUPS Fast Touch Electric Coffee
Even if your dad already has a coffee grinder, I still believe you should have a second one just for spices. My husband is a coffee drinker and we keep separate grinders for coffee and spices, but because grinders are so compact it doesn’t take up too much space to have both. Just be sure to make labels so there’s no getting chili powder in your coffee grounds! I love using this KRUPS one as a spice grinder as it creates a fine grind in less than 10 seconds and its one-touch system.
29. For the Food Nerd: The NY Times Cooking: The Recipes of Record
This is one of my all-time favorite cookbooks! A revised and updated version of the former bestseller, it took former New York Times food columnist and editor Amanda Hesser six years to complete the treasure trove of more than 1,000 of the paper’s best recipes. There’s a lot of history within the pages, and you could make it a personalized Father’s Day gift by bookmarking recipes you want to make together (my favorites are the Lobster Roll and Dijon and Cognac Beef Stew).
30. For the Coffee Lover: Stumptown Coffee Roasters Medium Roast
If your dad knows a cup of coffee is not just a cup of coffee, get him a quality bean to enjoy in the morning. This particular blend is a medium roast originating from Indonesia, Latin America, and Africa with notes of toffee, chocolate, and cherry. Tasters describe it as rich, smooth, creamy, deep, and complex.
